Tori Bicknell is the heart and hands behind Glory Us. Originally from New Zealand, Tori grew up with a love of cooking that never really left her - recipes passed down from her Mum and Grandmother shaped the way she cooks to this day, favouring simplicity over fuss, letting the food speak for itself.

Before Glory Us, Tori spent seven years as Head Chef at Rustica Sourdough and time as Executive Chef at ST. ALi Coffee Roasters, building a career on getting the fundamentals - bread, produce, technique - properly right.

She's cooked as a private chef for some of Australia's high-profile families, She’s worked as a private chef for exclusive health retreats around Australia, she style food as beautifully as she cooks it, and studied natural health and nutritional medicine along the way, all of which shows up in a menu that's as considered as it is comforting.

It's that background that gives everything at Glory Us its signature — the cafes, the catering, the private cheffing the retreat cheffing alike: colourful, generous plates of beautiful food that taste every bit as good as they look, and the odd cheeky classic done properly - her famous chip butty well as the salad sanga among them. Simple wholesome food, served with a whole lot of warmth.Food really is our love language.
